We are a research group at PolyU HK in the Department of Language and Technology.

Our research focsues on leveraging psychology, education, and language science to understand the heterogeneity of neurocognitive profiles among children from various linguistic and cultural backgrounds and integrating brain sciences into research and applications to benefit young learners, parents, and educational practitioners.

We have two overarching goals: first, to understand language development in children, particularly how monolinguals vs. bilinguals put together words and word-compounds. Second, to understand how LLM feedback helps with language aquisition as LLM become more prevalent in today’s education society.
